In the realm of fleeting days, where memories dwell,
A tale of lost spring, I'll endeavor to tell,
Where vibrant blooms adorned the land,
And whispers of new life were ever so grand.
Amidst the fields of emerald green,
A symphony of colors could be seen,
As daffodils danced with the gentle breeze,
And cherry blossoms graced the trees.
The sunlit meadows, a paradise fair,
Where butterflies flitted without a care,
Their wings painted with artistic grace,
Caressed by the sun's warm embrace.
In those halcyon days of joyous mirth,
The world was young, a marvel of rebirth,
Each step an adventure, each sight a delight,
Lost in wonder, both day and night.
But as the wheel of time turned its course,
The once vibrant spring began to lose force,
With every passing day, a piece did fade,
As nature's treasures began to evade.
The whispers of hope turned bittersweet,
As warmth gave way to the cold's cruel feat,
And where once the flowers bloomed bright,
Now stood barrenness, a solemn sight.
The birdsong softened, the melody waned,
The sweet scent of lilacs, forever restrained,
The heartache of lost spring began to grow,
As tears from heaven, a melancholy flow.
Yet, in this season's poignant grace,
A lesson learned, a truth to embrace,
For though the beauty of spring may wane,
It shall return, breaking winter's chain.
In the depths of sorrow, hope can be found,
With every fallen leaf on the ground,
For as the Earth turns and seasons unfold,
New life emerges, a story retold.
So cherish the moments of each passing day,
Embrace the wonders that come your way,
For though the lost spring may tug at your heart,
A new one awaits, ready to impart.
In the circle of life, a dance to behold,
A tapestry woven with stories untold,
Lost springs may come, and lost springs may go,
But the essence of life forever shall flow.
